Description: This charming, well-executed painting features a cat and two kittens in what appears to be a bedroom… with a chest of drawers in the background and a hand fan on the floor in the foreground.

It is unsigned, but done by a very competent hand and, undoubtedly, mid-19th century. It is painted on a thick chamfered wood panel which measures 10″ x 8″ and is in a period 14 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ lemon gold frame.
