Description
Description: These two early 20th c. black and white photographs depict two angles of the same building at a Bethlehem, Pennsylvania steel yard. The smaller photo shows a maelstrom of steel beams on the railroad tracks in front of the building, a crane in the background. The larger one shows an assembly of workers in front of the building, some on the ground, some on the roof, one up high on a post.
The smaller image measures: 4 ¾” x 6 ⅝” on a mount that measures: 8” x 10”. The mount has an embossed photographer’s mark of G. A. Conradi of Bethlehem, PA at the bottom right corner. The larger image measures: 7 ⅜” x 9 ½” on a 8 ⅝” x 10 ¾” mount and has the same blindstamp in the image. Item #P00299
Condition: The larger one’s mount has a bumped bottom corner, otherwise they are in very good condition.
