She wears cascading sparkling earrings and a dramatic dark lip as she gazes seriously into the distance. The operatic soprano has signed the photo on the lower portion of her dress.

Rosa Ponselle (1897-1981), considered one of the greatest sopranos of the 20th century, sang for many years at the New York Metropolitan Opera.

The 10″ x 8″ photo has an ink stamp on verso which reads: “Management Libbie Miller 113 West 57th Street New York City, N. Y.” It has been matted to: 13 1/8″ x 10 7/8″ Item #A01796
