Description: The Italian composer of operas Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924) wrote this letter from 4 Verdi Street in Milan to his biographer Arnaldo Fraccaroli. He states in part: "The two writings are all right. Do not forget the ancestors. Before I leave, shall I be able to read the rest?" . . . I also would like to greet you and tell you all my soul to thank you. A thousand kind hugs. On 10" x 6" page in Italian (full transcript included). Archivally matted and shrink wrapped with a photographic portrait to 25" x 16 1/4". Item #A00225.
Condition: Three horizontal fold lines, thin tone line around edge of letter probably from previous matting or framing, otherwise, very good.
