Description: This original 1880s photograph shows a two-story wooden building with a large sign proclaiming it to be the home of the Mohawk Canoe Club. A posse of men in bowler hats and suits mill around the entrance to the building, slightly obscured by some tall, disorderly grass.
7 3/8″ x 4 5/8″ photograph adhered to black, rounded corner, mount that has gilt bevelled edges. Overall: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/4″. Item #P00254
Condition: Faint stain at upper right edge of sky, generally very good condition.
