Francisco Dosamantes (1911-1986) was a Mexican artist and educator. He studied at the National School of Fine Art and the University of Mexico. He exhibited in Mexico, Cuba, and Europe, though he is best remembered for the mural work he did in Oaxaca, Michoacan, Chihuahua, and other states, and for his illustrations that enhanced the books used in government literacy campaigns.
Condition: The image area is lightly toned from a previous mat window opening. Otherwise excellent.
