Description: This original black and white photo of a grand three-story building with a wrap-around second floor balcony is identified by inked writing on the verso describing it as: “Hotel White house Middleburg”. Though there is no snow on the ground, the numerous trees in front of the hotel are bare of leaves, indicating this photo was likely taken in the winter.

The bottom right of the photo has an ink stamp for photographer Philip J. Messer (1888-1937). Photograph measures: 4 7/8″ x 6 5/8″. Mount measures: 8″ x 10″. Item #P00239

Condition: Mount corners are bumped, otherwise very good.
