Robert Kipniss (b. 1931), American painter and printmaker, typically depicts a peopleless world, one of stark houses, trees and windows, one of strong shadows and one of rich black hues. His works are held in most minor and major art institutions, including: Art Institute of Chicago, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Condition: A faint fingerprint smudge on the mat, otherwise pristine (not examined out of frame).
