Description: We offer a Reuvin Rubin exhibition poster from his 1971 show of 12 original lithographs of “The Story of King David” at Goldman’s Art Gallery in Haifa, Israel. The poster is pencil signed by the artist in English and Hebrew “44/125 Rubin” under the composition. The poster’s text appears in English and Hebrew, it read as follows: “Drawings, Watercolors, Gouaches (1921-1971) ‘The Story of King David’ 12 Original Lithographs by Reuvin Rubin, October 9 to November 9 1971.” The poster is 32 ¼” x 22 ½” and housed in a period frame that measures 33 ¼” x 22 ½”. Reuvin Rubin (1893-1974) was a Romanian born Israeli artist and Israel’s first ambassador to Romania. He studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts. He was awarded the Dizengoff Prize in 1964 and the Israel Prize in 1973.

Condition: It appears to be lightly faded, but in good condition overall. Not examined out of frame.
