Description: A year after Indiana created his iconic “Love” sculpture, a 12′ high version was exhibited in Central Park. This 32″ x 23 1/2″ poster was published by the American Poster Company in 1971 using a photograph by Tom Rummler. The poster is signed in graphite at the bottom edge: “For Elie[?] – with Love – Bob ’71”.

Robert Indiana (1928-2018) was a major force in the American Pop Art movement. His work is in the collections of numerous major art institutions, including: Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, Baltimore Museum of Art, Hirschhorn Museum, etc.
