Description: This striking original 1946 movie poster showcases the faces of Olivia de Havilland and John Lund cast in a ghoulish green light. The stormy sky and serious facial expressions help to communicate the drama of the film. The poster advertises “Lagrimas de una Madre,” the Spanish title for To Each His Own, the film for which Olivia de Havilland won her first Academy Award. Olivia de Havilland (1916-2020) was nominated five times for an a Academy Award, winning twice. Her second win was for the 1949 film The Heiress.
