Description: Theodore Edison apologizes and explains why he was unable to acknowledge the receipt of “the book ‘The Dynamic Universe’ by James Makaye” that the recipient, publisher Mr. Henry Hart, had so thoughtfully sent to him. He also comments on a puzzle that Hart is trying to solve: “Your solution of the chain puzzle is correct but I see you still have quite a little work to do on the 11 dots 16 line problem. It is not as easy as it appears to be at first glance!”

Theodore M. Edison (1898-1992) was an American businessman, inventor, and environmentalist. He was the youngest child of inventor Thomas Edison, and the founder of Calibron Industries, Inc.
Henry Hart was an American writer (Dr. Barnes of Merion, 1963) and publisher who worked as Publicity Director for Scribner’s Sons, Editor-in-chief of Putnam’s Sons, an Associate Editor of Time and Fortune, the founding member and first editor of Films in Review and a founding member of Equinox Cooperative Press. He edited the American Writer’s Congress (1935) and was responsible for the English-translation publications of Thomas Mann’s works.
Condition: Mailing fold lines and short separations at the upper margin folds. Generally in very good condition.
