Description: This striking linocut was cut in 1930 but not printed until it was exclusively offered by the Print Club of Albany in 1995.
Image is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" on a sheet of paper measuring: 11" x 8 1/2". It is titled and signed in pencil at the lower margin: "1930 Edison Coal Storage Mark Freeman." It is number 22 of an edition of 150.
Mark Freeman (1908-2003) got a Master of Architecture from Columbia and studied at the National Academy of Design. His works are housed in most of the major museums in the United States including: Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Library of Congress, Boston Library, etc.
