Description: This emotionally charged etching features numerous animated groups of people on Sixth Ave. It is signed in graphite lower right: “John Sloan”, as well as in the plate. It is also marked in graphite lower left: “100 proofs”. We believe this to be the eighth state of eight states.

Platemark measures: 5″ x 6 3/4″ on a 9 3/4″ x 11 3/4″ sheet of wove paper. Item #PR00669

Condition: Lightly toned at mat window, otherwise very good, a fine detailed impression.
