Description: This professionally bound compilation has five indexed pages and ninety-four blueprints–drawn to scale–of rail and accessories, such as: guard rails, angle plates, rail joints, track bolts, bridge warnings, enclosed milk platform, passenger station seat, etc.. They were approved by the Chief Engineer James MacMartin of the Delaware & Hudson Co. Albany, NY. The red, penciled date–2/10/32– on the general index and the red pencilled checkmarks and deletions on various prints suggest that the drawings were in use as recently as 1932.

8 ½” x 14” cloth covered boards house the blueprints held together with brass screwposts. The front board is imprinted, in block letters, “STANDARDS”. Item# AM00390

Condition: The blue prints are in good condition but for light distress along margins. The cloth binding is worn along the spine with the front board partially detached. Generally in good condition.
