Description: This wonderful broadside features an engraving of the first Maid of the Mist side-wheel steamboat ferry with twin smokestacks and a cut of a multi-person horse-drawn omnibus or carriage for transport to the boat and suspension bridge. The broadside notes that “the boat is supplied with India-rubber dresses for those wishing to remain on deck while passing the Falls.”
