Description: This elegantly simple hand-hammered sterling silver bowl is signed on the underside: “Dodge”, “Sterling”, and “By Hand”. There are also two touchmarks (eagle and shield).

William Waldo Dodge, Jr. (1895-1971), architect and silversmith, opened the Dodge Silver Shop in Asheville, North Carolina in 1927. It operated until 1942 producing high quality, Arts & Crafts-style hand-crafted metal work.
