Description
Description: We offer six luncheon forks in the Versailles pattern by Gorham. The elaborately decorated handles feature a winged classical female figure. Each piece is monogrammed with an “N”. The Versailles pattern was created by the French sculptor, Antoine Heller and patented in 1888. It is a multi-motif pattern and each piece of this pattern is decorated with a finely detailed figural theme from the Versailles Palace.
Forks are 6 7/8” long and are signed with Gorham’s touchmarks: a cat, anchor, and gothic “G” followed by “Sterling Copyrighted”. Total weight: 10 troy ounces.
