Lustre Art was founded in 1920 by former Quezal employees Conrad Vahlsing and Frank Paul after Vahlsing had a falling-out with his father-in-law, who was the founder of Quezal. They used designs and formulas very similar to those of Quezal, and made art glass shades until 1923.
