Description

Description: This black and white early 20th century cabinet card features the towering facade of St. Mary’s Church in Amsterdam, New York. The church, as well as the structure to the right of it, has black drapery adorning the front of the building. Clusters of people are walking toward the building to the right of the church.

According to the church’s website, it was built in 1837 and is still standing today. However, the building to the right has since been demolished.

” Compliments of A. Marks’ Sons of Amsterdam, NY 66, 68,70 E Main St Amsterdam, N.Y.” is printed  at the bottom of the mount. Overall: 6 1/2″ x 4 1/4″.  Item #P00317
