Description: We offer a large Staffordshire spill vase of a young lady and child holding a bird, 11” high, 6 ½” and approximately 2” deep”. The tree trunk has applied foliage and moss, with gilt enhancement around the base. Item #DA00155. This vase was intended for containing splints, spills and tapers for transferring fire and usually kept on the mantelpiece, thus the backs of these pieces are rarely decorated, or painted. Condition: Very good untouched condition.
