Description: This impressive assemblage tribute to Reichpräsident von Hindenburg includes a vignetted photograph of him in uniform “dripping” with medals, signed boldly in ink above a facsimile autograph. This is framed with two real-photo postcards and a press ticket to von Hindenburg’s funeral proceedings.

Paul Ludwig Hans Anton von Beneckendorff und von Hindenburg (1847-1934) led the German army during World War I and became President of Germany in 1925, a position he held until his death on August 2nd, 1934. He helped usher in the Nazi Rise to power, having appointed Adolf Hitler Chancellor in 1933.
