Description: This incredibly accomplished oil painting on mounted linen is signed lower right: “Donald Demers”. It is a view from the rocky shoreline toward the Boon Island, Maine lighthouse.

Donald Demers (b. 1956), marine painter, studied art at the School of the Worcester Art Museum and Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists, an elected member of the Guild of Boston Artists, an elected member of the California Art Club and the Plein Air Painters of America. He has been represented by Vose Gallery.
