Helen Hamilton (1889-1970), daughter of painter Hamilton Hamilton, studied art with her father and at the National Academy. Early in her career she was involved with the Silvermine [CT] Artists’ Colony. She proved to be a significant force as a woman artist in the post-impressionism era.

Condition: Very good untouched condition.
