Description: This extremely competent oil on canvas depicts a foreground of brush and a stand of trees set against a very blue sky with cumulus clouds. It is signed “P. N. Moran” at the lower right.

Paul Nimmo Moran (1864-1907) American portrait and landscape painter, was born in Pennsylvania to the prominent artist parents Thomas Moran and Mary Nimmo (Moran). He worked much of his active years in New Jersey and then relocated to Los Angeles, California.

Stretcher measures: 16″ x 20″. Framed in the original 1880’s ornate gilded frame which measures: 24″ x 28″. Item #FA00483

Condition: Painting and frame in very good untouched condition.
