Description: In this excellent autograph letter signed to a fellow cartoonist, Wilson writes in part: “…recent activity I’ve engaged in… tying in with the Circle Galleries, a huge outfit which is basically responsible for creating the huge prices animation stills are getting this [sic] days. Needless to say we cartoonists hope he’ll do the same for us! If all goes as hoped, there’ll be a cartoonist’s area in the Circle Gallery near you…”

Full page letter is 11″ x 8 1/2″, dated 12/3/89 from 133 E. 91st St. New York, NY and signed in full. Item #A01264

Gahan Wilson (1930-2019) had his cartoons and prose printed regularly in periodicals such as Playboy, Colliers, and The New Yorker for nearly 50 years.

Condition: Mailing fold lines, light wrinkling and toning at edges. Generally good condition.
