Description: The writer Joseph Heller graciously admires “Carla’s” letter and requests that she send “the books in individual mailers” in order to make “returning them quickly all the easier.” He considerately suggests that the books be mailed to him “fourth class” as he was going to be away for four weeks, and Carla could save a few dollars. He thanks her for her praise, adding “I know it’s sincere.” Signed “Joseph Heller.”
Written on a 7 ¾” x 5 ¾” sheet of letterhead bearing Joseph Heller’s East Hampton address. Item #A02048
