Description: This eye-dazzling screenprint was part of a boxed set published by Aquarius Press (Baltimore) and Edition Domberger (Stuttgart). The portfolio had eleven screenprints with text by William Blake. This print is titled “Burning Bright” and is signed, numbered and dated at the lower right: “Anuszkiewicz 13/100 1970″.

Richard Anuszkiewicz (1930-2020) is one of the major Op artists of the mid-20th century. He studied with Josef Albers at Yale University and, along with other artists like Victor Vasarely, explored optical effects through vibrating colors & geometric forms.
