Description: On April 15, 1970 the American Symphony Orchestra held an homage to Pablo Casals concert at Lincoln Center. Both Leopold Stokowski and Casals conducted, with Rudolf Serkin as pianist and Beverly Sills as soloist.

Georgia O’Keeffe had received a printed invitation to sponsor and attend the event. She indicates that she will attend and signs her name and address as: “Abiquiu – N. M.” She also writes at the top: “I was not at home when this arrived so saw late – probably to [sic] late in responding – I am sorry.”
