Description: This original Chaim Gross lithograph visits one of his favorite themes… motherhood. His markings capture the joy and motion of a mother and four children at play. At the lower margin is numbered “179/200”, titled “Mother Playing”, signed and dated “Chaim Gross ’70” in graphite.

Printed on an 18 3/4″ x 25 3/4″ deckle-edged sheet of heavy wove paper. Item #PR00555

Chaim Gross (1902-1991), Austrian/American sculptor and printmaker was a member of the National Academy of Design and,in 1984, was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
