Description: This brief typed letter is signed by Eddie Rickenbacker on Eastern Air Lines Chairman of the Board stationery. The letter reads: “My dear Edna: Further to my letter of December 15, 1960; the date of the dinner at which you and Charlie will receive recognition of his 25th anniversary with the company will be Saturday evening, May 14. This is the final dinner of the Advisory and Junior Boards of Directors being held at the Seville Hotel, Miami Beach.”

Eddie Rickenbacker (1890-1973) was America’s most successful fighter pilot in World War I having won 26 aerial victories. He headed Eastern Airlines from 1935-1959.
