Description: A highly unusual format for a John Steinbeck autograph! This part-printed card was issued by the Board of Elections in the City of New York. In manuscript it states that John E. Steinbeck was residing at 206 E. 72 St. when he registered to vote on October 12, 1957. Steinbeck has signed in full at the left margin.

John Steinbeck (1902-1968), American writer, is remembered for a host of novels, including: The Grapes of Wrath (for which he won the Pulitzer Prize), Of Mice and Men, Cannery Row, East of Eden, etc. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1962.

Condition: Several short light creases, otherwise very good.
