Description

A dramatic signed black-and-white close-up photograph of Russian composer, pianist and conductor Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) by Edwin McQuoid. McQuoid, a screen projectionist at Paramount Studios, took a series of striking images of Stravinsky in October 1940. Stravinsky has inscribed, signed and dated the photograph “N. Y. 1940”. 10” x 8” photo is matted and framed to 15” x 13”. Item #A00363.
