Howard Cook (1901-1980) is best known for his woodcut engravings and the murals he produced at court houses for New Deal art projects. His works are in the collections of many prestigious institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Bibliotheque National de France, and the British Museum.
