Description: This lively wood engraving on Japan paper was created in 1931. It is signed, titled and numbered “50” in graphite at the lower margin.
Angelo Pinto (1908-1994) taught at the Barnes Foundation from 1935 to 1992. His works are in the collections of the Barnes, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and many other prestigious art institutions.
