Sadakichi Hartmann (1867-1944) was an American art and photography critic and anarchist. An important early participant in modernism, Hartmann was a friend of such diverse figures as Walt Whitman, Stéphane Mallarmé and Ezra Pound.

Condition: Wraps chipped at corners and spine ends, water staining on wraps has bled through into blank margins of text, toning/offsetting on title page. Generally good condition with a bold signature.
