Description: A finely executed bronze uniface plaque produced by W. & H. Co. Newark, NJ (Whitehead & Hoag). It was cast to commemorate “the Inaugural Flight New York — Atlanta — Miami Passenger Service December 10, 1930”. At the foot of the woman with the propeller is the name of the designer — “Kilenyi” (Julio Kilenyi (1885-1959) an American sculptor and medallic artist).
