Description: This scarce survivor advertises a November 4, 1917 temperance meeting in Fort Plain, New York. It states in part: “The liquor traffic destroys the home, hinders the church, robs the school, corrupts the ballot…KILL THE LIQUOR TRAFFIC – VOTE NO-LICENSE… cut out BOOZE in Fort Plain and Vicinity.”
Broadside is printed by the Fort Plain Free Press on a 14″ x 9 1/4″ sheet of wood pulp paper. Item #AM00327
Condition: Fold lines with a few small holes, archival tissue tape on verso reinforces several short tears. Generally good condition.
