Description: The Victor Fife & Drum Corps of Salem, NY gather in front of Union Engine & Hose Co. No. 1 in this charming 1915 photograph. The assembled firemen and musicians are dressed in uniform with a few drums and cymbals scattered in the foreground.
Photo measures: 6 1/4″ x 8 1/4″; on a ruled mount that measures: 9 3/4″ x 11 3/4″. Verso has an inked inscription: “H. L. Cereghino[?] July 4th 1915”. Item #P00207
Condition: Bottom corner of mount has some loss. Generally very good condition with excellent contrast and resolution.
