Description: In this brief typed letter signed, Wilson writes in full: “My dear Mr. Lawton:- Thank you again for your interesting memoranda written yesterday. I was particularly interested in what you quoted from Mr. Ridder. In haste, Cordially yours, Woodrow Wilson.”

Written on a 10″ x 8″ sheet of stationery imprinted: “Woodrow Wilson Sea Girt, N. J.” dated August 24, 1912, while Wilson was Governor of New Jersey.
