William Osler (1849-1919), Canadian-born physician, is often referred to as the “father of modern medicine”. He was one of the founders of Johns Hopkins Hospital and was a staunch proponent of medical residency for the training of new doctors.
Condition: Professionally restored horizontal crack across Osler’s midriff. Ink stain lower edge, bumped corners. Even with above faults, a scarce bold autograph on an equally uncommon cabinet photograph.
