Description: This part-printed missive invites a Mr. Sheldon to the Fairfield Academy’s 1823 Commencement Ball at “H. Sherwood’s Hotel, in Fairfield, on the 20th of February”. An eagle over a mortar and pestle decorate the invitation.

A lengthy, seemingly unrelated, inked note on verso. 8″ x 4 7/8″. Item #AM00371
