Description: This pair of original cabinet card photographs shows two different views of the Ashfield House in Ashfield, Massachusetts. Numerous people linger on and in front of the covered porch of the four-story building on a bright, sunny day. Originally established as an inn, the Ashfield House is used as an apartment building today.
Both photos are on plain bevel-edged mounts with the backmarks of A. W. Howes & Co. Photographers of Turner’s Falls, Mass. Both overall: 4 ⅛” x 6 ½”. Item #P00257
Condition: A few errant spots, generally good condition, with contrast a little light in the upper areas, very good resolution.
