Description: We offer an untouched large late 19th c. tramp art frame with multi-tone layers. The outside dimensions to the ends of the crosses are 27” x 31” and the interior dimensions are 15 ¼” x 20 ¼”. The crate wood used as the base layer of the frame retains partial text that reads “Conn.”, likely placing the frame’s creation in Connecticut, USA. It houses a late 19th c. chromolithograph of a Swedish scene from Skansen (an open air museum and park), which seems to have been put in the frame when it was made. Item #DA00238.

Condition: Very good condition with original wire, backing, and glass.
