Description

Description: According to a pencil note on the verso of this early 20th century photograph, this crowd of people are standing in front of the brick facade of the “Close & Christie Glove Shop, now the Mayfield Glove Co.” Several of the workers are holding leather worker’s mallets. Though the building in the photograph is no longer standing today, it was once located at 3 North Main Street, Mayfield, New York.

Condition: Mount is toned and lightly stained, bumped at corners. Photo is in generally very good condition with very good resolution.
