Description: This dynamic seascape is typical of Dzigurski’s artistic output after he moved to California in 1952. It is signed lower right: “A. Dzigurski” and the canvas is stamped on the verso: “Copyright Reserved by Alex Dzigurski Painter.”

Stretcher measures: 20″ x 24″ in carved wood frame with linen liner to: 30″ x 34″. Item #FA00441

Alexander Dzigurski (1911-1995) was born in Yugoslavia and emigrated to the U.S. in 1949. He became a member of the Fine Arts Institute in Los Angeles, American Artists Professional League in NYC, Society of Western Artists, etc. His work is in the collections of numerous prominent art institutions including the Belgrade Art Museum (Yugoslavia) and the Ford Museum (Detroit).
