Description: This stunning mid-19th century coin silver cake server/knife has an exuberantly engraved blade with a rabbit amidst an ornate cartouche. Touchmark of silversmith Albert Coles (New York City) is at the upper edge of the blade.

Silver blade/hollow handle knife measures: 11 3/8″, weighs 3.55 troy ounces, and is housed in its original fitted hinged leather case. Item #DA00407

Condition: Surface scratches commensurate with normal use and storage. Very good condition. Handle is monogrammed. Silk lining on lid of box is lightly soiled.
