Henry Louis Mencken (1880-1956) was born and died in Baltimore, MD. He spent much of his career involved with Baltimore newspapers, especially¬†The Baltimore Sun. In 1924, he and George Nathan founded “The American Mercury” and Mencken served as Editor until 1933.

Condition: A few spots of mounting residue on verso, mailing fold lines, otherwise very good.
