Henry Louis Mencken (1880-1956) was born and died in Baltimore, MD. He spent much of his career involved with Baltimore newspapers, especially The Baltimore Sun. In 1924, he and George Nathan founded “The American Mercury” and Mencken served as Editor until 1933.

Condition: A few spots of mounting residue on verso, mailing fold lines, otherwise very good.
