Albert Payson Terhune (1872-1942) is best remembered for his numerous collie-focused novels. He was also a noted breeder of collies, and this letter is on his illustrated “Sunnybank Collie Kennels” stationery featuring two half-tone images of collies.

Condition: Mailing folds, two short tears repaired with archival tissue tape, letter was stored in one of those ubiquitous “sticky” page photo albums and the glue from the page has migrated to the recto of the letter leaving light tidy stripes. Generally good condition with a large, clear signature.
