Autograph letter signed beneath the 11” x 8 ½” typed fan letter. Writing is slightly shaky but legible. Includes transmittal envelope postmarked 1994. Item #A02069

Eudora Welty (1909-2001) was an American short-story writer, novelist, and photographer. Her novel The Optimist’s Daughter won the Pulitzer prize for fiction in 1973. She received the prestigious awards – the Presidential Award for Freedom and the Order of South.
